Seller Rules

Sellers must be honest about status, plant identity, condition, documents, fulfilment, fees, taxes, and cooperation during disputes.

Plain-language overview

Sets expectations for private sellers, professional traders, shops, and nurseries.

Choose the correct seller type: individual/private seller or business/shop/nursery.
Do not present commercial selling as private selling.
Professional sellers are responsible for required trader, business, tax, plant-health, and consumer information.
Seller approval, Stripe onboarding, or admin review does not guarantee that a seller is trustworthy, licensed, compliant, or risk-free.

Use current actual-item photos where the exact specimen matters.
Describe botanical names, cultivars, common names, uncertainty, plant form, size, rooting, condition, pests, disease, treatment history, and health honestly.
Do not make unsupported pesticide, treatment, rarity, propagation-right, intellectual-property, CITES, passport, or legal-compliance claims.
Keep price, stock, delivery method, dispatch timing, pickup requirements, and document notes accurate.

Check CITES, invasive alien species, phytosanitary, protected-zone, import/export, and national restrictions before listing.
Professional operators may need registration or authorisation to issue plant passports.
Piantera does not issue plant passports for sellers and does not certify legal compliance.
If documentation is required and unavailable, do not list or dispatch the plant.

Package plants securely with suitable moisture, ventilation, insulation, and movement protection.
Dispatch with weather, route, weekends, holidays, tracking, and plant sensitivity in mind.
Pickup orders must use the implemented pickup-ready and pickup-code process.
Cooperate with cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, evidence requests, support, and disputes.

The configured launch seller fee is 10% of plant subtotal with a EUR 1.50 minimum; shipping is excluded from the fee.
Seller earnings are delayed until the implemented release rule is satisfied. Disputes can freeze release.
Sellers remain responsible for taxes, records, DAC7 information if collected, and professional obligations.
Piantera may hide listings, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, block payment release, or request changes when needed. Appeals go through support unless a fuller process is implemented.
