Piantera operates the marketplace tools. The seller normally sells the plant or supply to the buyer, and seller status can affect consumer rights.

Piantera provides the marketplace, listing, checkout, order management, messaging, support, moderation, and safety tools. Unless Piantera is expressly identified as the seller, the contract for the plant or supply is normally between the buyer and the seller shown on the listing.
Repository configuration does not currently contain verified public legal entity details, registration numbers, VAT numbers, phone numbers, a DPO, or an agreed ADR body. Those details are tracked internally for business and legal approval rather than guessed here.
The payment architecture is provider-neutral. The code supports manual mode and Stripe Connect behind configuration. When online payments are enabled, Stripe processes payment and connected-account flows. Piantera is not a bank, payment institution, wallet provider, or spendable store-credit provider.
The configured launch marketplace fee is 10% of the plant subtotal, with a minimum fee of EUR 1.50. The fee is not applied to shipping. Buyers currently have no buyer fee and sellers have no listing fee by default.
Successful payment creates pending seller earnings. The implemented payout release rule is delivery or pickup confirmation followed by a three-day no-dispute window. A buyer confirmation can release earlier, and an open dispute blocks release. Stripe may later pay a seller connected-account balance to the seller's bank according to Stripe's payout settings and timing.
The Stripe adapter creates full or partial refunds back through Stripe and reverses transfer/application-fee handling where supported. Public policy language therefore says refunds are normally returned to the original payment method unless another lawful method is expressly agreed.
Opening an order dispute before release freezes seller earnings. Admin resolution may release seller payment, support a full refund, support a partial refund, or keep restrictions in place depending on the facts and payment-provider outcome.
Governing law, jurisdiction, mandatory consumer protections, ADR participation, and competent authorities require business and legal review. Piantera does not link to the former European Commission ODR platform because it was discontinued on 20 July 2025. Current consumer redress information is available from the European Commission.
